Summary:
This story is about a duckling. Nobody likes him because he is very ugly.
So he runs away from his pond. After a while, he comes across an old lady's house.
Her animals are mean to him. So he hangs around. Winter ends, and then spring
comes. Suddenly, the ugly duckling can fly. He becomes a beautiful swan.
Opinion:
My favorite part is when the ugly duckling realizes he is a swan. He overcomes
many difficulties. I recommend this book to children who can't wait.
